Also, celebrities are often seen to endorse this product which seems to give them more credibility, rightly or wrongly.

Brand Body Scrubs

Exfoliates and body scrubs are also products that have been promoted as a treatment for dry itchy skin. However, there is very little consensus among consumers about which of these products are actually effective. Unfortunately for sufferers of dry skin conditions, it seems that it may be possible that body scrubs and exfoliates are not that effective in the actual treatment of dry skin.

Product Quality

In conclusion, it is not the brand that matters it is the cream! There are few products adequately treating dry and itchy skin conditions. What consumers really need is a product that is effective and natural. Some of the brands that are dominating the market are only really there at the top because they spend a huge amount of money on advertising and celebrity endorsed promotions. Smaller brands that are not so well known but may well be supplying higher quality products, find it hard to get recognition because they simply can’t afford to match the marketing budgets of these larger companies.

Don’t fall for the expensive marketing hype from famous brands at the expense of choosing a quality and effective product. It is the product that matters, not the name!
